🇮🇹 Il suo cammino creativo prende le mosse dalla curiosa osservazione di una bambina del lavoro della nonna materna, titolare di una sartoria a Forte dei Marmi.
Dopo il Liceo Artistico apprende la tecnica dell’arte orafa formandosi presso la prestigiosa scuola fiorentina.
Su tale base traspone, nei propri monili, spezzoni di vita trascorsi negli angoli più estremi del mondo.
Con le sue creazioni l’artista è alla continua ricerca della sua anima, frazionata nei tanti luoghi e nelle mille esperienze vissute durante il suo continuo girovagare, non come turista disattenta, ma come attrice consapevole e stanziale.
La maggiore esperienza che lascia traccia indelebile nelle sue creazioni è certamente lo stretto rapporto di vita instaurato con le donne somale, che per sbarcare il lunario plasmavano la materia più umile in oggetti da vendere al mercato.
Nelle sue creazioni l’artista rievoca e racchiude la forza e la fierezza di quelle donne nonostante tutto felici del loro quotidiano vissuto tra mille difficoltà.
🇬🇧 Her creative path starts from the curious observation of a little girl of her maternal grandmother’s work, owner of a tailor’s shop in Forte dei Marmi. After high school she learned the technique of goldsmith’s art, training at the prestigious Florentine school. On this basis, he transposes, in his jewels, pieces of life spent in the most extreme corners of the world. With her creations, the artist is constantly searching for her soul, divided into many places and a thousand experiences during her continuous wandering, not as a careless tourist, but as a conscious and sedentary actress. The greatest experience that leaves an indelible trace in her creations is certainly the close relationship of life established with Somali women, who, in order to make ends meet, moulded the most humble material into objects to be sold on the market. In his creations, the artist evokes and encapsulates the strength and pride of those women who are, in spite of everything, happy with their daily lives lived among a thousand difficulties.
